AIA receives 2 grants from the Irish government

As a community-based organization committed to hosting events that promote positive associations to Ireland and matters Irish in our beautiful town of Amherst, Massachusetts, the Amherst Irish Association is delighted to have the support and encouragement of the Irish government for our efforts.

This year (2016), we received two awards - a Mission Grant, awarded by Ireland's Consul General in Boston, Finnoula Quinlan, and an Emigrant Support Programme grant awarded by the Minister for Diaspora Affairs, Joe McHugh, T.D., Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland.
